    Hostage Phone Scam

    The Southington Police are warning residents of a phone scam in which the caller reports they are holding a relative hostage. The caller, speaking with a Spanish accent, states a relative was involved in a motor vehicle accident where the relative crashed a BMW. The caller states the relative was hit over the head with a gun and taken to a safe house. The caller may tell the victim they are being watched and they can see the victim.

    Southington Police Union Timothy Foley Memorial Golf Tournament

    On Friday, May 30, 2014 the Southington Police Union will be holding the Annual Timothy Foley Memorial Golf Tournament.  The Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. Shotgun.  The cost per player is $130.00 and the sign up due date is May 15, 2014. ****In case of poor weather conditions such as rain the tournament will be rescheduled for a later date (TBD).
